About DJ Queen CZR
Hey hey! I'm Tiera Caesar aka "DJ Queen CZR". I started playing percussion in the 6th grade and I have always had a passion for rhythms, syncopated beats and music. I started my DJ journey in February 2016 while in college. I wanted to learn the art of Turntablism because I love how you can manipulate music in your own way and use the turntables as a musical instrument.
I started blogging in 2023 in an attempt to find a side hustle that I could turn into my full-time job so I could pursue my dream of DJing and Music full time. Throughout this blog I'll be talking about my DJ journey, navigating the music industry as a woman, life lessons that I've learned along the way, words of encouragement, a lot of DJ talk, music, and whatever else is on my heart lol.
I decided to share my DJ journey and insight because I don't see a lot of women, let alone Black Women Turntablist/DJs in the music industry... but I know we're out here. I hope that by me sharing my journey I will be a source of encouragement to women and anyone on their journey. This blog will also allow the world to get to know me better.
DJ Queen CZR is different from anyone else because I am one of a kind, there is only one DJ Queen CZR. I only share from personal experiences that I've been through. I dedicate my life to my craft. I am extremely passionate about DJing and helping others to grow. I believe that it is my life's purpose to share my knowledge, my gifts & talents of DJing and music with the world.
This blog is for women or anyone that wants to know what it's like being a DJ and musician.
